Another dAmn Interview! is an interview series I've started up where I interview a deviant who is regular in the dAmn/Chatroom area of
deviantART, and ask them to share their initial and current opinions on thatarea of the site. I'd love some suggestions
from you about how it can be improved if you have any, and any other questions you thinkshould be asked. Thank you!

1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?

I've only been on dA going on 2 years now, but I started using dAmn shortly after, maybe 3 months after I joined dA back in I believe September or October of 2010

2. Did you find yourself drawn to any chatrooms in particular when you first started using them?

Most definitely! I was very curious about them, and was thrilled to be able to meet new people that shared similar hobbies as me.

3. Have you made any friendships while using dAmn?

Of course! I think most of the friends that I've made on dAmn I've met going into chats for events and whatnot like Staff Appreciation Week and deviantHEART.

4. Are there any rooms you would recommend other deviants visit?

#devart  #seniors & #communityrelations for starters. They are pretty friendly and helpful there

5. Which medium of art was your first love?
Photo manipulation! I've always loved to edit photos until I got my hands on photoshop, then I started with manips and it's a match made in heaven

6. What emoticon / graphic is your favourite to use in dAmn?

oh my goodness, there's too many!  

7. What chatrooms do you usually hang out in?

8. Some people are scared to join dAmn because of the amount of deviants using it - do you have any words of advice?

Don't be afraid. I know the first few times I entered a chatroom, I was definitely shy and just kind of observed. That's okay! Take your time and when your ready, just start blabbing away!

9. What was your impression of the chatrooms before you started using them?

I was actually pretty curious about it, I had been in chatrooms previously on other websites that were just random chit chat but on here I was thrilled to have chatrooms that focused on art!

10. Is there anything else you would like to add?

Just have fun. It's a great way not only to make friends, but also to ask for help and improve on your art too
