Owl City: The Midsummer Station

This is a poster I designed for the Owl City poster contest at Creative Allies. It shows how I picture the Midsummer Station when I listen to the album. I'll explain that below, and if anyone would like to vote for my creation to be made into a poster, the link to vote is here . It'd also mean a lot if you guys could spread the word so more people see and maybe vote too!

The Midsummer Station to me is somewhere you can escape to when you're feeling scared or insecure. I designed this 'planet' to cater for everyone's comfort zones - there's 3 different types of terrain. The sandy beach, the green grass and the blue sea. There is a huge, gentle whale there. He's big enough to let you know that you're never alone even when you feel like there's not a single soul out there for you, but he's quiet enough to give you some space if you need it. The happy train is what takes you there - on a keyboard train track. You listen to the music and are immediately transported here. The road is a colourful joyful one, and you instantly feel better.
