Now there are a number of things coming up in the film and animation community, so firstly let me start off with the #ArtHistoryProject. 
February is our Film and Animation month!
So I'm scratching my head as to how to write an introduction at the moment! But if you fancy writing an article about a certain style, artist or would like to hold some sort of event please get in touch with me! If you are interested please post at ^DistortedSmile's signup journal here! :#1:

Vexel Week Winners!After a wonderful week, and lots of participation in the events, I can happily announce the winners from Vexel Week! :excited:

First was the trivia chat event held on Friday 11th, with 20 questions all somehow relating to vexel art around dA :D Thanks to everyone who came along, and also a special thanks to ^dekorAdum who kept the chat topic updated for me, for I am not really chat-savvy yet :XD:
After all was done, the winner - with a fantastic 9 points - was =Eitvys200, who wins 800 :points: :w00t: Congratulations! And the two runners-up, with 4 and 3 wins respectively, were *dully101 and =James--Steele, who win 400 :points: each! :clap:

The deviantART Related PE Weeks will no longer be later this month. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it will now be from March 18th until March 31st - that's two weeks!

Yann Arthus-Bertrand undertook probably one of the most fascinating collections of Photography that I've ever come across. He first started shooting from the air whilst in a hot air balloon. In more recent years, he has been able to use a helicopter. Whatever his methods have been, he has never ceased to snap creative, inspiring and other-worldly type images.

Julia Margaret Cameron was a British Photographer born in 1815 and living until 1879. She's relatively unheard of though, despite the faces that she photographed and the developments she made in her short career (spanning just eleven years.) Unlike many modern photographers and prodigy's, Julia is quite unique in that she didn't start photographing until she was 48 years old and was given a camera as a gift. Her style was not appreciated in her time, but like many who have made an impact on society, she became more famous and recognized long after her death.

KPop Fan Art Features - Infinite

Hi there! :wave: Welcome to a new Art Feature series I'm starting up. :happybounce:
They will be posted once a week, and in them I'll feature one KPop
(Korean Pop Music) group as a whole and as individual members. Hopefully
this can help spread around the love for KPop a little, as well as
educate people on the members' names. =P

The group that I would want featured doesn't have enough art around to be in a feature. :sniff: I'll still suggest Dalmatian. And if there isn't enough, B2ST because they're my favourite. :D I'm not a fan of Infinite at all, but there are some lovely pieces here. :D *:+fav:some*
