Another dAmn Interview! - moria330

Another dAmn Interview! is a new series I've started up where I interview a deviant who is regular in the dAmn/Chatroom area of deviantART, and ask them to share their initial and current opinions on that area of the site. Since this is a new series I'd love some suggestions from you about how it can be improved, and any other questions you think should be asked. Thank you!

1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?

I started going on dAmn about 1-2 months after I joined dA back in 2008.

2. Which chatrooms do you usually hang out in? Any rooms you'd recommend do others?

There are several chatrooms that I tend to hangout it: iPhotograph, seniors, devart, ShareZone, CommunityRelations; there are a few others but these are the easist for someone to get intouch with me.
I would recommend iPhotograph for those who are interested in photography, it is a friendly room and I have met some great people there. I also would recommend ShareZone for the overall friendliness and the ability to share your work.

3. Has dAmn had given you any inspiration artistically?

I have recieved inspiration by talking to others doing the same kind of art it opens possabilities to do thing I had not considered before, like portraits.

4. Which medium of art was your first love?

My medium of art is photography I had my first camera when I was about 7 years old, it was a simple film camera.  I use photography to grab the moment, that is one thing that has been one of my greatest pulls to it.

5. What Emote/Graphic is your favourite to use in dAmn?

Oh gosh.. I have so many ones that I love to use I guess , , , and are my top ones.

6. What was your first impression of the chats before you started using them? Were you curious, scared, eager to learn about them?

I had been wondering how I could meet other people on the site and I saw there was a chat feature and I gave it a shot. I was a bit worried I wouldn't make friends but quickly that worry went away.
I was happy to find within the first few months a few well run and friendly chats

7. Have you made any friends while using dAmn? Do you think you would have met them if you didn't use the chats?

I have made many friends while using dAmn, and besides the people I met at two local devMEETs-some of who I met in chat-I would not have met them.
