Another dAmn Interview! is a new series I've started up where I interview a deviant who is regular in the dAmn/Chatroom area of deviantART, and ask them to share their initial and current opinions on that area of the site. Since this is a new series I'd love some suggestions from you about how it can be improved, and any other questions you think should be asked. Thank you!
1. When did you start using dAmn compared to how long you've been on dA?
I believe I first used dAmn sometime around July 2009, about a year after making my account. So I've known about it for the majority of my time here on dA.
2. Which chatrooms do you usually hang out in? Any rooms you'd recommend do others?
WeEmote used to a brilliant place back in the good ol' days. It's a real shame it died down. So I recommend there. If anyone has played the game 'Mafia' or 'Werewolves' you can play a dAmn version in dAmnWerewolves. Again though it's not as active as it used to be. All it really needs is a good amount of people to simply lurk in there and join in when a game starts being arranged. Add it to your autojoins or something.
3. Has dAmn had given you any inspiration artistically?
Well I've had a few emote ideas come out of WeEmote, which is good.
4. Which medium of art was your first love?
Emotes!
5. What Emote/Graphic is your favourite to use in dAmn?
Has to be , it's never not relevant.
6. What was your first impression of the chats before you started using them? Were you curious, scared, eager to learn about them?
At first I was nervous about joining (I'm kinda shy), but after a while I got used to it and then it was awesome.
7. Have you made any friends while using dAmn? Do you think you would have met them if you didn't use the chats?
Well, there are people I wouldn't know about if I had never been on dAmn.
8. Is there anything else you would like to add?
Completely unrelated, but here's a quote from Caroline Lucas - "If the Earth was a bank it would have been saved long ago."

Well... hi!
Testing... Testing... Is this thing on?
Hooo boy, it certainly has been a moment since I was here, huh? It's always an experience coming back here after a while away and this time certainly is no different! I don't know how many of your lovely faces are still around but if you're reading this - I hope you're doing okay! ❤️
Things have certainly changed a lot since I was last here, namely:
- I finished my Masters degree
- I now work in the video games industry
- I live with my wonderful partner, Wren, with our two dogs and cat
- I'm happy
I'm not entirely sure what to do with my dA account - whether I should strip it down a
I miss Da
I've been thinking a lot about Da recently (it's so strange typing it in a different way, I need to get used to that!) and how much I miss it. I miss the people and the sense of warmth and how nice it was to be involved in a community, and I miss you guys. :)
I really want to get back into things, so I'm gonna try hopping into the chats and the forums again from time to time - I won't be there constantly but I think it'll be nice to ease myself back into things. I want to get back to how I was when I used to be active here and having a blast doing what I did - which was talking to you guys, meeting new people and just being on Da in general.
Meeting my World
It's kinda weird how life works. Some people enter it and they may hang around for a little while and then drift off, or some people will stay for a few years and go. Then every so often you'll meet this one person who changes your life completely and reminds you every day of how lucky you are that things happened in life which made the two of you meet.
In case you haven't realised by now I'm talking about my best friend - Madfairy7 (https://www.deviantart.com/madfairy7). We met here on dA nearly 6 years ago through the Forums and while we were close then, I don't think we've ever been closer than we are now. It gives me tummy butterflies just thinking about it. :'D

Life Block
WoooOooOOooOOO angsty journal title!
Hi dA, how have you been? I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas & New Year and that you're all doing well. :) This is going to be a rant/release journal so you can't say I didn't give you fair warning before you read on!
I'm going through an intense block at the moment and it's scary. It's mostly emotional - I'm in a pretty bad place and that means that my motivation is gone and my art is suffering for it, too. I'm still at uni but I'm not even close to hitting the targets I've got set for myself which is kinda distressing. I adore my course and Games Design is what I want to spend the rest of my
